Social anxiety

(Social phobia)

is a long term and overwhelming fear of social situations.

Check out if you can recognise yourself in any of these patterns:

Are you dreading social gatherings, even with close friends and family?

Are you worried that you might appear anxious or incompetent?

Are you avoiding meeting, speaking or eating with other people?
Are you creative in finding excuses Not to meet people?

Do you realise your world is pretty small? Do you have friends?

Are you worried that others might judge you or criticise you?

Are you self conscious and worried what others might think about you?

Are you feeling lonely, different and alone?

I am here to tell you that there is a way to change that. You are not alone and it is not your fault.

It is not the way you are and you have the power and the choice to change it.

Do you dream to find a partner and have a family?

Do you want to find a (better) job or have a promotion?

Do you want to meet new people and have friends?

Do you want to connect and be part of a group?

Do you want to feel calm, relaxed and confident around people?

Do you want to travel and explore the world?

All that is possible.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

The main concept of CBT is that our thoughts, feelings and behaviours are interconnected, interrelated. Sometimes people get trapped in a vicious cycle of negative thoughts and feelings. Here is where CBT comes in, it helps to deal with the inner turmoil and start acting more positively.

CBT deals with the current problem rather than focusing on issues from the past. Here and Now is what matters.

CBT is generally short-term therapy, 3 to 12 sessions. However, a lot depends on your commitment and motivation. Of

course, more complicated issues will require more sessions.

CBT is action-oriented which means it will require active participation- implementing, repeating and making practical changes.

CBT is user-friendly therapy which means you will be encouraged to learn the basic principles and to apply them between sessions and when the therapy is finished you will leave equipped with skills for life.

CBT is the Gold Standard in the treatment of all forms of anxiety. CBT is generally considered the best treatment. https:// www.nhs.uk/mental-health/conditions/social-anxiety/

CBT is used to treat Anxiety, Phobias, Low Self Esteem and Low confidence, Habit reversal, and Performance issues like Fear of public speaking or Fear of driving.

Clinical Hypnotherapy

is using hypnosis in therapy which means ONLY for your benefit and with your consent. Hypnosis itself is just focusing your attention on one idea and expecting the best outcome. It is a powerful tool and I can teach you how to use it and master it.

Hypnosis is also used to help with Anxiety, Pain Management, Habits, Sleeping problems.

Hypnosis is just as safe as doing simple meditation or relaxation. When we are using it, it will be exactly like talking to me with

your eyes closed.

There are three basic facts about hypnosis which I want you to understand:

First, I am not going to put you to sleep, Hypnosis is Not a state of being asleep or unconscious. About 90% of the people report being aware of everything that happens. You will be able to move and go out of Hypnosis anytime you want to.

Second, you will remain in control all the time as Hypnosis is Not a state of mind control. You cannot be made to do anything against you will. You will never be asked to do something silly or embarrassing. Everything we do will be done with one aim- to support you to achieve whatever you desire by using the power of your mind.

Third, you don’t need to tell me anything that you don’t want to share. Nevertheless, our sessions are strictly confidential.
